Pregnancy

Finding out you have breast cancer while you are pregnant is very upsetting. You are likely to feel a range of emotions that may include anger, sadness or fear.

Be reassured, most are able to carry on with their pregnancy, but your doctor will discuss your options based on the type of breast cancer you have and if its progressed.

There isn't any good research evidence to show that being pregnant makes a cancer grow more quickly. Visit Cancer Research UK for more information, and speak to your local GP.

Breast cancer during pregnancy is rare.
